All nursery facilities are available to the holiday club children and age appropriate activities are provided to ensure that they are stimulated, active and happy. Days are spent between the holiday club room, gardens, fields and local woodlands. Although a timetable of activities is devised all children have the choice to do other activites. During the february holiday club volcanoes were designed, made and exploded throughout the week. The children also made their own burgers using fresh minced beef which they then cooked on the outdoor cooker. An army day enabled the children to camp out in the fiels, complete an army assault course, collect wood for the fire where they helped to cook their dinner. Children had their faces painted and dressed in camoflarge. In the summer holidays the children spent many days at the woods engaging in forest school style activities. They also went on a fishing trip to the local lakes, taking a picnic for their lunch and learning about fishing cycles.
